    Personal Caregivers: Tips, Tricks and Tales from Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury
    Three individuals with longstanding quadriplegia described their experiences and shared tips for finding, hiring and managing personal caregivers. These presentations were followed by a brief talk by a UW rehabilitation psychologist about maintaining personal boundaries when working with a personal caregiver. There is a video and a report provided.
    SCI Health and Wellness Series
    The Mount Sinai Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in New York has created a series of seven web-based videos on living well and healthy after SCI. The SCI Health and Wellness Series webcasts are available free to professionals and their patients with SCI. Each segment is about 30 minutes long and features individuals with SCI who are successful role models for each of the topics discussed. Before viewing, you will need to complete a short survey, and then you are free to view as many webcasts as often as you like!
    Sexuality after Spinal Cord Injury
    A one hour DVD talking about sexuality after Spinal Cord Injury with Dr. Michael Dunn and Dr. John Lavelle trying to answer these questions. This frank and straightforward discussion ranged from Male and Female sexuality to keys to having a good sexual experience post disability. Online clips are avaliable.

    Operated jointly by National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) and United Spinal Association, Spinal Cord Central is a web-based resource for people with paralysis as a result of spinal cord injury or disease, their families, friends and others who have an interest or involvement in persons with SCI/D, including health care and other professionals, direct service providers, and businesses focused primarily on serving this market.
    Stem Cells and Regeneration of the Spinal Cord: Practical Barriers and New Cell Technologies
    This video was presented on May 12, 2009 at the University of Washington Medical Center by the Northwest Regional SCI System, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Washington. Dr. Horner reviews the types of stem cells that hold promise for SCI therapy and discusses the latest in stem cell technology.
